Hello everybody, I hope you are all well. I thought, which is rather dangerous, that I would start reviewing some short films / audio journeys or any short form content that is available on the internet. I thought it may be nice to give this its own segment on my site. So welcome to the first Sunday Shorts! These posts will be short themselves, but they will also only focus on short form content.
If you are a fan of straight theatre, long musicals or full concerts then do still give these a try. If these don’t satisfy your hunger, then there will always be the review mondays. This is just for those who want a quicker read, and steady supply of art to tide them over.
In this segment we will be looking at short films, we could look at music videos, we could look into youtube clips. This section will start by looking at films, but I really want to hand the choice over to the StageSiders. What do you want to read about? What do you want to chat about? Dont forget, StageSideUK is a place for you to chat and discuss all things performance. This segement is just one step to get us all chatting a bit more.
So, if you have a suggestion please feel free to leave it in the comments section below. You can also write suggestions on our facebook page, tweet them to us or comment on our instagram post dedicated to suggestions. This can be anything that is family friendly, doesn’t contain pornographic content and would be suitable for all ages. We will trial this for a short time. Hopefully this will help us get talking and will let us all engage with material that some of us may never have come across. Again, do suggest anything that is suitable for all ages. Even if it’s your favourite music video, a short film you made maybe, an audio trail.
