Calling all StageSider’s, this is your beginners call, please take your places as we welcome you back to StageSideUK. StageSideUK reviews performance, analyses aspects of performance, sparks discussions on performance and creates conversations to get the world talking about … performance. We are avid watchers of theatre, dance and performance! We do not discriminate, art is art, and we want to see it all.
This section of the website will be populated with performance reviews. Hopefully this year, theatres stay open for a little while longer than last year. I am hoping we are able to get in those seats at least once a month. My goal for this page of our site is to have a new review going live once a month. I am sure there will be more, but one a month is a minimum. This year I am looking forward to seeing a mix of performances. I want to see some new shows, some old shows, some shows I know nothing about, and some shows I know EVERYTHING about.
We welcome comments on our reviews, and hope you will take part in discussions that may occur in the comments. However, please be respectful, to others and yourself. Be kind and do not try to offend or upset anyone. This is a happy place, that points out the best parts of theatre, as well as bits we didn’t love, but please remember that actors, directors, designers and all involved are people too and have feelings. We will always be honest, but kind. StageSideUK never intends to upset or hurt individuals, we just want to talk about performance.
