Hello, everyone! I hope we are all well and staying safe! Welcome to another wondering Wednesday. This wednesday I was wondering, do you dress up to go to the theatre, or do you go in your comfy clothes?
When I was in the latter years of secondary school until the end of the first year of college, I would go to the theatre in comfy clothing. I was there so often. Dressing up for the theatre felt like dressing up to have a cup of tea at home. When I got into the second year of college, we went on a trip to the theatre. I dressed casually, in my comfy t-shirt and jeans, and my friend asked why I didn’t make the effort. From that day on I always dress up for the theatre.
I love any excuse to get dressed up in nice clothes. Especially when theatre visits are as infrequent as they are in the current climate. Any excuse to get out, dress up and see something new needs to be taken advantage of.
