Hola StageSider’s, I hope you are all well! I am absolutely loving this heat, the pool and of course… the Pina Coladas. I thought of a wondering wednesday when I got off the plane, as I saw a poster for Cirque Du Solei. So this wondering wednesday I want to know, what show do you wish would come to a town near you, and where would you sit for that show? It may sound like a weird question, but I know that for some shows, the seating choice really does make a difference.
My answer to this wondering wednesday!
To me, I would rather see more shows in the cheap seats, but if I had to pick one show to see as a dream show and sit in the premium seats…. I would pick The Cher Show and sit centre stalls or centre circle in a theatre that has an aisle that runs down the centre, so I can stretch my legs. Being 6 foot in these theatres isn’t the best, but I love going anyway.
I saw The Cher Show in Sunderland, a little bit of a journey from my house. It takes around 2 hours to get there and I regret nothing. This show opened my eyes to JukeBox musicals, as I was starting to hate them, if i’m being honest. But The Cher Show reignited that love for a cheesy musical and I had the best time.
The Cher show is coming to my local theatre, and I was tempted to see it a couple of times when it comes. Should I do it? I have already seen it once and I am hooked.
