Hello everyone! I hope you are all staying safe and you are well. Today I bring you the first installment of ‘Wondering Wednesdays’.

Today I was wondering, what was the last local show you have seen?

By this I mean a local theatre company, a group that makes theatre in your local area. This can be a company, a drama group, community theatre, anything local and made by locals

.

Mine was Beach Body Ready, which was performed and created by The Roaring Girls, which is a local theatre company in Hull. I saw the performance at the University of Hull. It was a really good night out, a load of laughs mixed in with a few touching moments but overall a brilliant piece of theatre. I love the honest and open nature of the group and the energy presented on stage was just amazing. It felt like all the positives of a fun fair, ups, downs, upside downs, round and rounds, biscuits and banter. The only difference was I didn’t want to barf at the end. Instead I wanted to go again, but maybe have a few more biscuits.
