Calling all StageSider’s, welcome back to another Wondering Wednesday post. This question may be a bit of a weird one, but I am interested to know… Do you have a seat you always sit in at the theatre? Do you always sit in D3? Or do you just go wherever you can?
In my old local theatre I used to always sit in G7. I dont really know what drew me to that seat. Maybe because it was in the middle of the stalls and middle of the row. But I won’t lie, I dont think there was that much of a difference. If I am visiting a regional theatres that is host big tours, I tend to sit in a seat that has a good view but isn’t too expensive. I tend to see a lot of different shows and so I have to be very conscious of my budget.
Some people I know have a seat they always sit in regardless of the show or price. But, I also know some people who will never sit in the same seat two shows in a row. I think I tend to fit into the last category. Even if it just means changing sides but still sitting in a partial view seat. I like variety and experiencing the theatre in a different way.
What do you think? Do you have a seat you always sit in, at the theatre? Let me know in the comments section. I’m interested to hear your views on this one.
